Bullet Business Devise New Industry Conference

New European ‘meeting point’ to unite online and terrestrial industries

Thursday 7th September 2006

The recent shift in market focus from the US due to the BetOnSports saga has been highlighted once again with the news that a new conference, hosted by Bullet Business, is to be held at the Business Design Centre in London on December 6-7.

Events such as this have traditionally been US led enterprises, however the European market has become a vital commodity for both online and offline companies looking to continue their aggressive growth strategies and increase market share.

The conference model designed by Bullet Business (www.bulletbusiness.com/europe06) brings together both sides of the gaming industry to address the most important business issues, including marketing and legislation, land based casinos, and new product development. The event which follows Bullet Business’ Poker Summit Europe, will also involve six co-located conferences, an Expo, a charity auction and an Industry Poker Tournament.

Bullet Business estimate that around 450 people will be attending this year’s event, including industry leaders such as John Anderson (CEO, 888), Mark Blandford (CEO, Sportingbet), Phil Fraser (CEO, Which Bingo), Matthias Hein, (Treasurer, The European Casino Association) and John Shepherd (Director of Corporate Communications, PartyGaming) who are all confirmed speakers.

Michael Setters, Global Events Director at Bullet Business explained, ‘Research indicated that there was a real need to bring the on and offline markets together across the gaming and gambling industry. The synergies are massively important and of course the expectation of the European market has been heightened in recent months making the event even more pertinent’.
