Online casino Bodog has delayed the launch of reality show 'BodogFight' to allow for additional footage.
The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) reality series will now air its first episode on September 19 on Men's Outdoor and Recreation, which is carried in over 23 million homes and on DISH Network, and online at BodogFight.com.
The eight-episode series will show seven elite modern-day American warriors earning the right to represent the United States. As part of 'Team USA', the seven fighters will square off against members of the Russian Red Devils Team, a group known for its fierce roster that includes world heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko. This USA vs. Russia grudge match will be broadcast live on a future pay-per-view event that will also include three Superfights.
Calvin Ayre, founder of the Bodog.com Entertainment Group, said, 'When BodogFight's inaugural episode launches, viewers are going to witness a new standard in mainstream digital entertainment. The additional footage capturing the essence of Mixed Martial Arts as a sport and lifestyle will add a new degree of rawness never seen before.'
