Ultimate Bet Launches $2,000,000 Online Tourney

The winner will battle Phil Helmuth for extra cash and panache

Poker website UltimateBet.com has announced that it will be holding its Online Championship Event (UBOC) from December 1 to 10. The tourney will see poker players the world over compete for huge prize pools totalling a guaranteed $2,000,000.

Apparently inspired by 10 time world poker champion and UltimateBet poker pro Phil Hellmuth, the UB Online Championship provides players with the opportunity to play in daily poker tournaments. These daily, guaranteed events culminate in a $1,000,000 guaranteed competition on December 10 where the winner not only cashes in, but plays heads up against Helmuth himself for bragging rights and an additional $10,000.

Live online expert commentary will be provided throughout the event by UltimateBet’s poker pros Annie Duke, Shawn Rice, and more. Bluff Radio host Nick Geber will co-host commentary during the championship.
