12 qualifiers went all-in at the Euro Finals of Poker tourney
Wednesday 27th December 2006
Everest Poker is celebrating the success of 12 of its players at the recent Euro Finals of Poker in Paris.
The players qualified for the tourney via Everest Poker and took their seats at the Parisian tables amongst a host of famous poker players which included Michel Abecassis, Thomas Fougeron, Pascal Perrault and many more.
Facing a field of 158 players at the tournament, which had a buy-in of €3,000 with €10,000 in chips and blinds going up every hour, two German Everest Poker players made it to day two of the competition with 54 players left.
Damian Rzezniczek started the day with €23,000 in chips and finished 45th with AQ versus AK. Oleg Drews begun with a sizeable €34,000 in chips and made it to the semi-final with €145,000. He finished in an impressive 14th place and went home with the congratulations of his Everest Poker colleagues and €4,410.
Everest Poker continues to sponsor tournaments across Europe. More info is available at their website.
