Everest Poker has announced the winners of its third Round 3 Everest Poker Avalanche Event.
The poker tournament was held on 15 April 2007 and the top 14 players not only walked away with $5,300, but also a seat at the Everest Poker Avalanche online finale. The online finale will be held on 17 September 2007 at 15:00 GMT at the virtual felt of the online poker room.
'We're look forward to the online finale because after that, the real fun begins.' said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager. 'The final 10 players from the last online event are going to each win a trip to play Hold’em at a live final table at an undisclosed location.'
The top 14 finalists come from all over Europe, including France, Spain, Germany, The Netherlands and Sweden.
Spanning nine months, the Everest Poker Avalanche involves both online play as well as live poker games. The tournament features a three-round structure which the site says allows players at all levels to join in.
