Everest Poker to Host Poker European Cup in Amsterdam
Online poker site heads to Holland for freeroll event

Online poker room, Everest Poker, has announced that it will be holding its live, second annual Everest Poker European Cup (EPEC) tournament in Amsterdam on May 13, 2007 at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT).
The EPEC is a freeroll poker tournament that gives 200 European players the chance to battle it out for a €100,000 prize. The stakes have doubled from 2006’s tournament with just 100 players competing for a €50,000 prize fund.
The live Hold’em poker final is the culmination of the event which started on May 1, and sees a number of live and online qualification tournaments staged across Europe. Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Austria and Portugal will be the host countries for the live events. Online qualifiers will also take place for each country on Friday evenings at 19:00 GMT.
