WSOP veteran applies poker strategies to parenting in a new book

Mark Borowski, a father of two children and World Series of Poker player, has released a book which he claims demonstrates a link between playing your favourite card game and good parenting.
In 'Big Slick Daddy: Poker Strategies for Parenting Success' Borowski illustrates his claim with the knowledge gained in over 20 years of card-playing, alleging that the same strategies that help a player win at poker can help readers win at parenting.
Amongst the themes covered in the book is the necessity of going ‘all in’ with children. “In poker, going all in means committing all of your chips to the outcome of one hand, which is thrilling when you win and chilling when you lose,” said a spokesman. “In parenting, going all in means making significant, enduring commitments to your kids that will pay off in the long run.”
Other tips include ‘Don’t bluff your kids’ and ‘Play no-limit poker but play limit parenting.’
