PKR Fattens up 3D Avatar Offering

More 3D customisation options on offer through latest upgrade at PKR.com

Thursday 7th June 2007

Online poker site PKR.com has launched new and improved software based on player feedback, and its continuing development since inception only nine months ago. The realistic 3D graphics at PKR now include the option of making your character fatter or thinner; providing even more variety and reality to the look of the other players. Despite having over 600,000 members, no two players look the same.

Players can access a ‘dressing room’ to try out a range of looks, including tattoos, body piercings, earrings and headphones, as well as a variety of outfits from suits and cocktail dresses to rugby and football shirts.

The actual poker games themselves can be accentuated with moves such as standing up for all-ins, and body language to express a range of emotions to suit the players mood and psychological strategies.

In addition to player and play improvements, PKR has added some new places to the site. A London ‘Met Bar’ environment will give players the opportunity to view the Capital’s skyline and there is also a VIP lounge.

The site has also revamped its leader board system, which is now similar to those used for snooker and tennis. Recent wins count for more than ones in the past; keeping the list fresh and allowing players to plot their progress more easily. Prizes and awards will be given to monthly for leader board successes.
