He may have won almost half a million dollars in one weekend, but the poker elite's newest member is not quite ready to make a living out of the game just yet, it seems.
Jason Warner scooped $481,000 at the World Series of Poker event in Las Vegas on Saturday night, but the champ has insisted he will take some time to reflect on his achievements before making any rash decisions about his future.
According to the Vancouver Sun, Warner will be back at his job at a building supply store on Wednesday, rather than ditching the day job to splash the newly-won cash.
"I'm going to take it all in and recover," he added.
Warner beat off competitors from around the globe, including some of the game's big names, to take the prize pot and the all-important, jewel-encrusted gold World Series of Poker bracelet.
