Online bookmaker and casino group Victor Chandler has announced the launch of its very own high-stakes, land-based poker tournament in collaboration with casino operator London Clubs International. The Victor Poker Cup will be held this July at London’s elegant venue, Six Hamilton Place, off Park Lane and will comprise ‘one hundred celebrities, poker professionals, internet qualifiers and high-stakes gamblers.’ Following three days of competition, one player will walk away with a cheque for a quarter of a million pounds.
According to Victor Chandler, the event will be filmed and distributed globally ‘to millions’, in effort to establish, in time, one of the most high profile and well known tournaments in poker.
