Internet Gambling Marketing Company Launches French Version

America’s loss is France’s gain as Jeu De Casino En Ligne introduces website in French

Monday 18th June 2007

Online casino marketing firm Jeu De Casino En Ligne has launched a French language version of its website, marking a shift in the online gaming industry from American-based online gaming to European-based casino gambling.

The French version of the website, said Director George MacDonald, will act as a window for French-speaking players who are looking for online casinos but want to be able to find these casinos in their own language.

The Paris-based company said that it took great care in translating the content of the website into French and initially tested online translation software before deciding to go with human translators. MacDonald said that translation software tended to translate words literally and muddled up words as they appeared in the content or the meaning of the word as it related to the content and message of the site.

He stated that the shift from the US to Europe made it viable for Jeu De Casino En Ligne to offer its website in French and that this should excite French gamblers that are looking for casino information in their home language. The move followed the American decision late last year to ban monetary institutions from processing financial transactions relating to online gambling.
