WagerWorks Extends SkyBet Contract

SkyBet to integrate WagerWorks games on iDTV SkyVegas channel

Friday 25th May 2007

iGaming software supplier WagerWorks/IGT, has announced the extension of its partnership agreement with SkyBet to integrate WagerWorks games on the iDTV SkyVegas channel.

WagerWorks is releasing some of its most successful slot games on the SkyVegas channel, to follow the already live 20-payline Cleopatra®. This will be followed by the 9-payline Monopoly with Pass “Go” Bonus. This new proposition rides on the continued success of its online casino offering, skybetvegas.com, also supplied by WagerWorks.

This collaboration is seen as an opportunity for both companies to capitalise on an already successful partnership, with the opportunity to ‘cross-sell’ and the need to broaden Sky’s offering with top–tier, proven-performing slot games, set to attract new players to the channel whilst satisfying existing players.

Paul Mathews, President of WagerWorks Inc., explained, “WagerWorks is very excited about this collaboration with SkyBet which we believe will raise the bar on game play and production quality for a gaming interactive channel.”

John Parsonage, Head of Gaming for SkyBet, echoed Mathews’ statements by adding, “This is a positive step to further enhance our iDTV gaming portfolio with a selection of some of the best games in the industry.”
