Scientific Games Announces Partnership With Sportech

Gaming service provider teams up with company behind Littlewoods Betting

Scientific Games, a leading supplier of fixed odds betting terminals and systems, has signed a lucrative five year strategic agreement with Liverpool-based Sportech, operators of online gaming site Littlewoodsgaming.com.

The deal will see Sportech providing football pari-mutuel tote services, technology development and other IT consultancy services to Scientific Games, which forecasts that the partnership will generate $8 million of revenue for its company over the five-year term.

As such, they were the clear choice to be our partner in re-establishing Littlewoods Football Pools(TM) as a major participant in the UK gaming industry and other strategic international marketplaces,' added Ian Penrose, CEO of Sportech.

Under its principal brand, Littlewoods Football Pools, Sportech has attracted a customer base of 500,000 punters betting on pools and lottery games tied to the weekly fixtures list of the UK Football leagues.
