Online gaming operator granted full iGaming licence by Alderney Gambling Commission
Wednesday 18th April 2007
Arkin Sports and Leisure Limited has announced that it has been granted a full iGaming Licence by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission at the Commission’s April meeting.
“Alderney provides the right technical environment for the continued expansion of Arkin's TheBetArena online betting and gaming operations,” said Arkin’s Chairman Mr. Erbil Arkin. “As a responsible operator we believe that properly regulated licensing contributes to international development and we are delighted to have been approved by this leading authority.”
Robin Le Prevost, Head of E-Commerce Development for Alderney added that Arkin “is a very welcome addition to the growing number of Alderney’s iGaming Licensees, having recognised the unique advantages that the jurisdiction could offer.”
“Alderney is a Global Jurisdiction rather than just a locally focused entity, providing a perfect bridgehead not only into Europe but also into other markets, much further afield, and this is why we are seeing unprecedented growth. The value of the Alderney kite mark is clear to players and operators internationally.”
