PKR.com is running a six week cinema advertising campaign to be shown alongside the film Lucky You.
The film, which stars Drew Barrymore and Eric Bana, is brilliantly timed to take off with the growing interest in poker, and the campaign will create awareness of the most innovative online poker site out there.
Booked by Jack Media through Carlton Screen and pah-pah pah-pah Pearl and Dean, the spot is a 30 second placing that will be shown on over 350 screens across the UK.
The Marketing Director at PKR.com, Simon Prodger, said that showcasing PKR’s real-time 3D graphics alongside the film, “Makes absolute sense and allows us to reach over a million poker fans in an engaging and high-impact manner. We’re confident that the big screen will maximise the impact of our stunning graphics and unique game play brining thousands of new players to our game.'
While the film has had mixed reviews, it will certainly draw poker fans due to cameo appearances from world class poker players including Johnny Chan, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth Jr.
