Jimmi Hendrix’s House a Stop on the Road to WSOP

A reporter is hoping to trade his way into the World Series of Poker this year

Thursday 24th May 2007

Aaron Todd is on a quest to trade his way into the World Series of Poker. His first trade involved a $0.60 cheque sent to him by PKR.com, when changes in US law killed the American poker market. Todd now has two notarised pieced of Jimmi Hendrix’s house up for grabs.

Hendrix lived in the house from the ages of 10 to 13, and some believe that if you hold the rocks to your ear and listen hard, you might hear the sound of a guitar in the distance. Siko, who has been preserving the house, heard about Todd’s trading project and decided he was willing to help. He is now the proud owner of an ABA basketball signed by the 1975-76 Indiana Pacers.

More details of Todd’s trading journey can be found on www.sixtycentmainevent.com

PKR.com spokeswomen, Erika Schwartz, said, “Everyone at PKR wishes Aaron the best of luck in the quest and we we are only sorry that he wasn’t able to qualify for his seat on PKR. We hope his awareness campaign is successful.”

Jez San, founder of PKR.COM, and the online poker site’s founder commented that “The poker world needs more people like Aaron Todd.”
