London, April 19, 2007 – PKR.com, the world’s most advanced poker room, has announced one of the most unique World Series of Poker* promotions in the history of the storied event.
“We’re always looking for ways to innovate and bring more excitement to the game of poker - this promotion is no different. By giving players the chance to target their attack and compete in the World Series events of their choice we’ve generated a lot of excitement on PKR.com.”, said PKR.com Cardroom Manager Neil Wright.
The jewel in PKR.com’s WSOP* promotion crown is the Ultimate World Series Experience Package. At least five players will claim $12.5K prizes each which include $10K to spend on the World Series events of their choice and $2.5K to cover the cost of travel and expenses. Players can use the money to take on the Main Event, or spread their stake around in other World Series events of their choice.
PKR.com’s other major innovation is the unveiling of Team PKR – a select group of specialists, chosen through qualifying tournaments on PKR.com, that will be sent to Las Vegas to compete in a variety of World Championship events. The aim is to establish PKR as a major player in the World Series.
“This is PKR.com’s competitive World Series debut and we’re ready to take on the world. We want to pick the best of the best from PKR.com to take to Las Vegas and compete strongly for as many bracelets as possible”, said Neil Wright.
And PKR.com is putting its money where its mouth is. Any PKR player that makes the final table in a World Series event will automatically win $10K from the site. Event winners will grab a fantastic sponsorship deal to represent the site as Team PKR members for a year with $100K in buy ins to take on the worlds richest events for 12 months.
Satellites and qualifiers for these amazing prizes are already running on PKR.com – and are proving extremely popular. For a full rundown of all of PKR.com’s World Series 2007 activity, see the following pages.

THE ULTIMATE WORLD SERIES EXPERIENCE
PKR is giving players a shot at the ultimate WSOP* experience
A minimum of five winners are going to scoop World Series Experience Packages worth $12.5K each (for a total prize pool of $62.5K). PKR.com is giving each package winner $10K in tournament fees to spend any way they want in their assault on the 2007 World Series of Poker*. That means winners can take a shot at the Main Event, or enter any number of specialist events that suit their playing style.
“This promotion is all about giving players a choice and letting them experience the World Series the way they always dreamed of.”, said PKR Poker Room Manager Neil Wright. Adding, “For some players the focus is entirely on the $12m main event and that’s fine. But a lot of other players would rather concentrate on playing for bracelets in events where they specialise – like Omaha, heads up, short handed and so on. We wanted to give these players a chance to customise their own World Series and now they’ve got it.”
Players can also choose from a variety of ways into the World Series Experience Grand Final on PKR. High rollers can buy into the Grand Final directly for $250 while cagier players may prefer to qualify through a number of satellites being offered (see illustration). In fact PKR.com is giving players an opportunity to get into its World Series Experience Grand Final for free – either through playing special Premium Freeroll satellite qualifiers or by accruing PKR Points during the promotion period. See www.PKR.com for full details.

We want to find the best of best to take on the World Series.”, said PKR.com Card Room Manager Neil Wright.
To find their stable of next generation stars, PKR.com is giving players a chance to take aim at a number of World Series events by qualifying directly on PKR. PKR.com will be running satellite tournaments to both the Ladies Event and Pot Limit Omaha event to recruit Team PKR members. Other events will be seeded through a unique points system where qualifiers will earn points in games in the PKR.com poker room that will earn them seats in freerolls where winners will play off for their respective seats in the World Series.
The World Series $1.5K Pot Limit Omaha qualifier runs on May 31 with a buy in of $30 – but Omaha fans can start playing satellites to this tournament on PKR for $3.30 every Thursday, starting April 19. The winner will join Team PKR with a package worth $3.5K to take on the world’s best at the WSOP $1.5K Pot Limit Omaha Event.
