The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino has announced that it will host the finals of two major National Poker League (NPL) finals.
NPL's 2007 Vegas Open and the World Championship Tournament will both culminate at the Venetian Poker Room in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to Poker News.
The Venetian will take on the mantle previously held by Caesar's Palace to host the Vegas Open's $5,000 buy-in Main Event on November 30th.
NPL's World Championship Tournament will tour the world, finishing up in a three-day, $15,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em event at the Venetian.
"This is truly exciting as we have worked hard to build a reputation of hosting well-structured, exciting poker tournaments run by a staff that is both friendly and knowledgeable," said Kathy Raymond, director of poker room operations at the Venetian. "The NPL, having their international flavour, fits into the environment that we have here at the Venetian."
