WSOPE Tournament Package Available This Sunday

World Series of Poker Europe package available to online poker players at Bodog

Thursday 16th August 2007

VIP packages for the World Series of Poker Europe event in London are being offered by Bodog Poker. The buy-in is $540 for the Main Event semi-finals, but there are still places on qualifying tournaments for as little as $1, with quarterfinals buying-in at $40. Sunday’s semi-finals are being held at 3.05 pm EST and 3.05 pm GMT and numbers have been capped at only 150 players.

Bodog are pushing hard to expand their poke operations in Europe, and the tourney is notable for kicking off at European and US times. With its usual flair for detail, Bodog are also promising to collect the winner in a swanky car and take them Savile Row in the heart of London. Here one of the city’s famous master tailors will run them up a made to measure suit. With the dollar at its current low, that’s a cheap suit – to say nothing of the saving on the WSOPE buy-in.

However, Dave Clark won’t need anyone to pick up his tab. He won £100,000 at the seventh leg of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour at the Grosvenor casino in Luton. The Colchester man bested 314 other players for the cash and a seat at the Grand Final worth £3,000.
