Hold 'em online tournament attracts international field

Leading online poker room EverestPoker.com has announced the winners of Sunday’s $100,000 guaranteed Texas Hold 'Em tournament.

The weekly tournament is EverestPoker.com's largest regularly scheduled event and is held each Sunday. The August 19 event saw winners from The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Argentina and Canada.

'This week, over 800 players from Europe and Asia as well as North and South America participated,' said Jonathan May, Property Manager for EverestPoker.com.

'This proves that EverestPoker.com is the premiere online destination for multi-lingual poker players.'

Dutch player ‘Pocketjoe’ took the top spot and won $21,000 followed by Germany's ‘...sogge...’, who won $12,000.

Rounding out the top three was Sweden’s ‘Supertomte’, who received $9,000. Top ten finishers included ‘cuco49’ from Germany with $7,000, ‘JeanFabrice’ from Sweden with $5,000, ‘samoth.....’ from France with $4,000 and ‘BoB80’ from Germany with $3,000.
