eWorld Announces Lottery Progress

New Chinese lottery platform for Beijing’s Olympic Lottery completes research and development phase

Monday 31st December 2007

eWorld Interactive Inc, a second-generation media and entertainment portal for mainland China and other Asian markets, has announced that its Chinese lottery division has completed the research and development phase of a new lottery and gaming platform for the recently approved Olympic Lottery in Beijing.

The firm stated that the new platform’s architecture comprises a network of secure servers and proprietary software capable of handling large transaction volumes and integrates dedicated functions designed to handle game distribution management, real time monitoring and in-depth analysis of sporting results.

The Chief Executive Officer for eWorld, Guy Peckham, said that deployment of the new platform would provide for significant expansion of its lottery division.

He stated that the system consists of several interrelated key management modules, segmented into overall lottery management, financial administration, individual user controls, system diagnostics and analysis and news management modules. Each module offers a number of additional features and capabilities including the ability to manage multiple lottery games, their timing, content and prize databases along with integrated financial management to administer the balance sheets across yearly, monthly, weekly or daily periods for every lottery game.

'This is an important addition to the eWorld platform,' said Peckham.

'It has an excellent and culturally sensitive user-friendly interface, the functional back-end is very logical and clear. This platform anticipates the accelerated needs of China's burgeoning lottery business.'
