Bodog Poker Open – Event 1 Sees a Stunning Final Table
The Bodog Poker Open got off to a dream start, when the final table of its first event was packed with professionals

While we’re more used to seeing the big names of poker playing online at the likes of PokerStars or FullTilt, how often do you get to see them playing at the same table as each other? Make that a final table, and it’s even less frequent. The first event of the Bodog Poker Open saw a packed final table, and was eventually won by an online pro.
The tournament, a $250 buy-in no-limit hold’em event, attracted 377 entrants for a prize pool of $94,250. Bodog then threw another $10,000 into the kitty to bring the total to $104,250. Recent signing Jean-Robert Bellande managed to final table, along with two of the more established members of the Bodog Team, Josh Arieh and Evelyn Ng.
The two stalwarts actually got to four handed play, along with notable online professionals Joe ‘Dyzalot’ Morneau and ‘rusostreet’. Sadly, neither could secure the win, with rusostreet pipping Ng to the $26,000 first prize. Josh Arieh ended up in third cashing for $11,751.
