Bingo giant puts Nuneaton venue up for sale with $3.02 million asking price.

Gala Bingo has closed another of its ageing bingo halls and put the site on the market for $3.02 million.
The Abbey Street site in Nuneaton annually hosts a wide range of events and has been a landmark building since its construction in 1937. However, asbestos was recently found at the site and Gala stated that it was closing the venue to concentrate on two locations in nearby Coventry.
Although players in Coventry will benefit from refurbishments to the venues, players in Nuneaton will now be forced to travel to Coventry or Rugby on order to have a game of bingo, significantly increasing their costs.
