The meeting at Cheltenham Festival scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been postponed amid safety fears.
All races due to take place including the feature Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase will go ahead on Thursday and Friday instead, after another morning of high winds and strong gusts at Prestbury Park.
Ticket holders for Wednesday's event will receive a full refund but their tickets will not be valid for Thursday or Friday, organisers said.
Cheltenham's managing director Edward Gillespie told Channel 4 racing: "We had a forecast last night indicating that wind speeds would gust over 50mph, up to and including GMT 03.00 this afternoon.
"We had a look this morning and that has sadly been reinforced. Many of the temporary facilities would not be safe at that level - the reason we are not racing today is for the safety of the customer."
In an official statement, Cheltenham commented: "There will be tickets on sale for all three enclosures tomorrow, using a higher capacity of 65,000. Friday is sold out."
