Online poker room giving away 25 packages worth $12,000 to Las Vegas Main Event in July

Online poker room SunPoker.com has announced that it is giving away a total of $300,000 in packages for the upcoming World Series of Poker (WSOP) in July.
The Malta-licensed site is repeating a popular promotion from last year and giving 25 players the chance to compete at the Las Vegas Main Event by winning one of its packages worth $12,000 each.
“The great thing about this promotion is that you have 25 chances to win a package,” read a statement on the site.
“Most poker rooms offer WSOP freerolls but they usually award the package only for the winner of such events. In these cases, if you play for hours and finish second for a bad beat or two you go home with nothing.”
However, SunPoker.com stated that what makes its promotion different is that players only have to collect ten to 20 MyPokerPoints in a day to be eligible to buy-in for free at one of its satellites for the daily final. Players acquiring more points are able to buy-in direct to the daily satellite or even the daily final if they acquire 200 points. Players with 2,000 points are eligible to buy-in direct to the weekly final with the final WSOP Mega Freeroll being held on May 11.
