The Easter Bank Holiday weekend can be a poker hiatus for those of us forced to visit the in-laws, put up shelves or head out with the kids. PokerStars still saw 7,445 entrants log on to generate a prize pool of $1,489,000.
The final three players in this weekend’s mammoth field were Maluko0, Tsipor and Djemps, who agreed to settle for a three-way by-the-chips chop (try saying that after a drink or two), leaving $30,000 on the table for the three to fight over.
When the deal was made, Maluko0 had a slender chip lead, but with each of the triumvirate having already cashed around $120,000, a certain amount of pressure must have been alleviated. When Djemps exited in third, it left Tsipor and Maluko0 to go heads-up for the $30k, which Tsipor duly did to add just over $147,500 to his ‘Stars balance.
