The PartyPoker Nations Cup Is Back

Titan Poker have run their competition to send one of its players to the EPT Monte Carlo, and 43 year-old Roland Shuster is the lucky winner

Between the 7th-10th April teams from Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Holland and the United States will be competing for $100,000 in the second PartyPoker Nations Cup.

Each nation is represented by five of the top pros from the country alongside one VIP qualifier. Over the course of six heats, each representative will battle it out for the pride of their nation, and then compete in a tag final, where the chip counts will depend on how they fared in the heats.

The Brits bring a strong line up captained by Roland De Wolfe. Joining him will be the new Irish Poker Open champ Neil Channing, Poker Million champion Joe Beevers, TV specialist Ian Frazer (no, he doesn’t fix televisions, he’s just good on the broadcast poker shows), and WPT champion Surinder Sunar. With a lineup that strong, they’ve got to be in with a great shout of winning. They’ll be aided by online qualifier Francis Durbin.

PartyBets.com make Sweden 3/1 favourites to win again with the USA second favourites at 7/2, Great Britain at 9/2, Ireland at 5/1, Germany at 6/1 and Holland the outsiders at 13/2.
