Michelle Orpe Signs With Purple Lounge

With women becoming ever more keen on poker, Purple Lounge sign one of the most knowledgeable in the industry

Purple Lounge Poker has noticed more and more women are coming to their site to play poker. To reflect that, and to represent the ladies, they’ve agreed a sponsorship deal with professional player and TV presenter Michelle Orpe. Michelle is already well known on the UK poker circuit, and she’ll know be using her looks and poker brain to spread the word about Purple Lounge.

We better not mistake Michelle as just a pretty face, though. I’ve played poker with her, and she’s a tough cookie. She knows it too, so much so that she’s chanced her arm in some of the biggest tournaments in Europe, including the EPT. Her poker nouse has also landed her presenting slots on Poker Night Live, and more recently as a lead presenter on Sky Poker.

Purple Lounge obviously felt it was time to acknowledge the new wave of interest coming from female poker players, and by signing Michelle Orpe, they might have made a very shrewd signing indeed.
