Hansen slow to post after WPT Championship
Wednesday 30th April 2008
Poker star Gus Hansen has yet to write up his feelings on his shock defeat at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship on his blog.
The regular poster had commented after each day of action at the Bellagio as he dominated the competition, but following his eventual loss to David Chiu in the heads-up on Saturday, he has yet to give a statement.
Hansen destroyed his final table opposition at the WPT on Saturday and looked set to win his fourth title, but Chiu staged a remarkable comeback to push him into the runner-up spot.
He was quoted by ThePlayr.com as saying he was bitterly disappointed afterwards, but has not conveyed these thoughts to readers of his blog.
A number of fans may be eagerly anticipating Hansen's next post as he promised to go into detail about how he performed on day four of the tournament.
He did not write too much at the time because he feared giving his opponents an advantage.
