Tips From The World Poker Association

Wednesday 14th May 2008

As many in the industry continue to feel the pinch, the World Poker Association has taken the proactive step of announcing a teach-in prior to the commencement of battle at the 2008 World Series of Poker event. So what is it all about and what can you expect?

The teach-in will be held at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, on the 28th and 29th May and looks set to become something of a hit. The conference itself will be moderated by Poker celebrity Mike Caro and has been billed as “63 Money Making Tips To Win A Bundle At The WSOP”. Who else will be there and what will be on offer to members?

The World Poker Association has put together a useful panel of experts to give advice and tips to the many that are expected to attend. Lisa Adams (LIPS Tour champion), Ken Adams (Lawyer and well known Poker player) and Francois Montmirel (from the French School of Poker) will be there to give their differing views and advice on the game.

Many are hoping that this “teach-in” approach will become a regular event in the future as it also offers a very useful way of promoting the game itself.
