Cunningham 'outplays Negreanu on the golf course'
Wednesday 14th May 2008
Live tournament poker's third highest earner Allen Cunningham struck the ball better than fellow card player Daniel Negreanu at the World Series of Golf this week.
At least this is what Negreanu has suggested in his Full Contact Poker blog.
The Canadian claimed Cunningham bet poorly throughout the tournament but helped himself out by playing some good golf.
Negreanu on the other hand "did everything right betting wise, but simply didn't execute [with his clubs]".
Cunningham has been outperforming Negreanu away from the golf course in recent weeks.
His World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit victory at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas moved him ahead of Negreanu in the all-time money rankings, taking with him the title of the biggest earner in poker yet to win a WSOP event.
Cunningham has five WSOP bracelets compared to Negreanu's two, but Kid Poker holds two World Poker Tour titles, while Clever Piggy has none.
