Bluff Media Show Their Hand

In a move which cements the position of the ladies game in the world of Poker, Bluff Media has confirmed the purchase of rights to the printed version of the Woman Poker Player magazine for an undisclosed fee. The Woman Poker Player magazine was born at a time when ladies represented less than ten percent of all Poker players, but times have changed of late.

Over the last few years ladies Poker has been the something of a hit and is currently the fastest growing sector of the market. Mixed sex games are now more common than they have ever been and the ladies are certainly making a name for themselves. The growth in the reader base of the Woman Poker Player magazine mirrors the increased take-up of the sport.

As part of the new package, subscribers to Woman Poker Player will also receive a complimentary copy of Bluff Magazine and the website (which was not part of the deal) will still be updated on a regular basis with new and relevant content.

It is interesting to see that while the online industry takes all of the headlines there is still scope for a relatively new and exciting published magazine covering the Poker industry. Perhaps all that shines is not online?
