While most of the top professionals at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas this summer will have cut their teeth at poker's biggest event years ago, one young internet star is about to make his debut.
Dani Stern, who has never even been to the Nevada casino destination before, has revealed in his Card Player blog that he is set to make his first appearance at the Harrah's Entertainment owned poker extravaganza.
He will play in seven tournaments in total, including the main event, but it is possible he could enter more.
"If I bust out early in some of the events, I may add to the list, but these are the ones I definitely want to play," Stern remarked.
Known as Ansky451 on the internet, Stern is better known for his cash game skills than for taking down tournaments.
He is currently lower than 3,000th in Card Player's online player of the year rankings.
